JD.com opens two 7FRESH supermarkets in Sichuan

One of the stores span over 8,000 sqm.

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has opened two 7FRESH supermarkets in Chengdu, Sichuan province, according to a press release. As of now, there are about 20 7FRESH supermarkets in China.

One of the stores spans over 8,000 sqm, with the first floor for grocery shopping and the second for a catering area offering local delicacies. The other store has a bar area with imported and domestic liquors, wines and beer as well as Chinese and international cuisine.

Customers can choose to order online through the 7FRESH app, promising to deliver within 30 minutes.

For JD’s upcoming Grand Promotion on 18 June, 7FRESH will deliver an omnichannel shopping experience for consumers within its service area.
