Brady Brewer named Starbucks International CEO

He will oversee the teams in APAC, EMEA, Japan and LAC.

Brady Brewer is set to assume the role of CEO of Starbucks International as part of a strategic leadership overhaul, the company announced.

In a statement, Starbucks Coffee Company said it will implement several leadership changes effective April 1, to establish a clear geographic leadership structure supported by global functions.

Brewer, with over two decades of experience within the company, will oversee teams across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Japan, and Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside international licensed partners.

Meanwhile, Belinda Wong and Molly Liu will maintain their roles as chairwoman and co-CEO, respectively, continuing to lead the Starbucks China team.

Michael Conway will also take on the new role of CEO of North America, whilst Sara Trilling remains as executive vice president and president.

The company's strategic realignment comes amid ambitious growth plans for Starbucks, with three out of four new store openings slated for international markets.

Additionally, it aims to expand its global footprint to 55,000 stores.
