7-Eleven Australia opens new format concept store in Bowen Hills

It offers an extended range of everyday essentials and an expanded food selection.

7-Eleven Australia has launched a new format concept store at 25 King Street, Bowen Hills.

As one of the largest in 7-Eleven Australia’s network, the store employs 27 team members and offers an extended range of everyday essentials and an expanded food selection, catering to all meal times. Additionally, the store provides delivery services through UberEats, DoorDash, and MenuLog, enhancing convenience for local residents and workers.

“The new format concept store is about providing more of the products our customers want, when they want them and in the most convenient way possible,” said 7-Eleven CEO and Managing Director Fiona Hayes. “For us at 7-Eleven Australia, we have had a long-term focus on our food.”

By the end of August, 7-Eleven will have 222 stores in Queensland. New locations include 7-Eleven Kedron, opening on 8 August at 485 Gympie Road, and 7-Eleven Moffat Beach, opening on 15 August at 51 Roderick Street.

Since 1982, 7-Eleven has invested over $120m in Queensland. The expansion creates jobs for over 2,300 locals and supports builders, suppliers, and maintenance roles.

“Growth in our store network provides not only direct jobs when the stores are up and running, but also for local builders and other suppliers whilst the stores are built and fitted out. It also provides ongoing maintenance and supply chain roles with our partners,” said Hayes.
