Una Brands acquires furniture brands ErgoTune, EverDesk+

The 8-figure deal is seen to speed up its global expansion.

Consumer goods company Una Brands has acquired homegrown Singaporean brands, ErgoTune and EverDesk+ in an 8-figure transaction.

The deal is considered as the largest acquisitions of Singapore-based direct-to-consumer brands.

“This transaction bears testament to the high product quality and growth of ErgoTune and EverDesk+,” Lye Yi Hao, Co-Founders of ErgoTune and EverDesk+, said.

With Una Brands’ financial backing and operational expertise, we are poised to grow our brands in various regional marketplaces and enter new markets at an accelerated timeline.”

ErgoTune and EverDesk+ offer affordable and high-quality ergonomic furniture, catering to individuals currently on a work-from-home arrangement.

Among their flagship products were the ErgoTune Classic and the ErgoTune Supreme Chair which were sold over 20,000 in 2021. The companies also saw a record 150% growth last year to SG$13m.

“We aspire to grow ErgoTune and EverDesk+ into the region’s best-selling ergonomic chairs and desks in the next 3 years,” Kiren Tanna, Co-founder & CEO of Una Brands, said.

Una Brands is expected to launch the brands in additional ecommerce platforms, including Amazon in the first half of the year.
