Retail trade sales in Taiwan climbs to $11.96b in February

Sales in the wholesale trade reached $34.97b.

Taiwan’s trade and service sectors showed mixed performance in February 2026, according to data from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Sales in the wholesale trade reached $34.97b (NT$1,119.1b), up 6.8% compared with the same month last year, whilst retail trade sales totaled $11.96b (NT$383.1b), marking a 7.7% year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, sales in the food and beverage services sector fell to $3.14b (NT$100.3b), an 8.9% decline from February 2025.
