It will offer over 2,300 grocery items.
Deliveroo has launched its third Deliveroo Hop site in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, targeting the area's increasing grocery needs.
The new site, located at 6/F, The 80|20, 161 Wai Yip Street, will serve Kwun Tong, Ngau Tau Kok, Kai Tak South, and parts of Kowloon Bay.
It will offer over 2,300 grocery items, including condiments, grains, produce, meats, ready-to-microwave meals, fruits, vegetables, beverages, snacks, personal care products, pet snacks, and home essentials. Organic vegetables will also be available to meet local demand for healthier options.
A November 2023 Censuswide survey of 1,000 Hong Kong consumers found that 58% of Kwun Tong residents plan to use more grocery delivery services in the next year, and 51% expect to spend more on groceries.
Popular items include snacks (50%), beverages (48%), personal care products (39%), and instant food (32%).
The survey also revealed that the 36-45 age group is the highest spending demographic on groceries, indicating a strong market of young professionals.
