Birkenstock launches largest in-mall store in India

Sixty-three brand stores now operating across India.

Birkenstock has opened a new store in Chennai, expanding its retail network in India to 63 brand stores, including 26 company-owned locations.

The new outlet is Birkenstock's largest in-mall store in the country and the brand's third store in the city.

The brand said the expansion underscores Chennai's strategic importance as a growing market, driven by increasing demand from premium consumers for high-quality, comfort-focused footwear.

The store features Birkenstock's signature sandal and clog collections, as well as contemporary closed shoes, seasonal styles, accessories, and the brand's Care Essentials range.
