Birkenstock expands Japan presence with new Osaka concept store
The store includes a Care Essentials area.
Birkenstock has opened its first concept store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, marking its continued expansion in Japan.
The launch follows earlier concept stores in Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Nagoya. The Osaka store is the brand’s fourth concept store in Japan and its 12th directly operated permanent store. It spans two floors and is among the largest street-level stores in the country.

The store features a minimalist interior design highlighting Birkenstock’s craftsmanship. A white-dominant space is paired with earthen walls, cork materials, and the brand’s signature bone pattern.

The first floor is dedicated to Care Essentials, offering foot and body care products. The second floor carries a full range of footwear, including sandals, clogs, shoes, and boots, from classic to new styles.
