Balenciaga elevates Hong Kong flagship with first VIC private appointment area
It draws inspiration from Balenciaga’s Paris Couture Store fitting room.
Balenciaga has officially unveiled its relocated, expanded, and upgraded flagship store at K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong.
The new two-level space spans approximately 461 square meters, significantly increasing the brand’s retail footprint in the region. It showcases Balenciaga’s full range of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections, along with shoes, bags, accessories, jewelry, eyewear, and store-exclusive items.
A standout feature of the store is a walled-off VIC (Very Important Client) area designed for private appointments.
This exclusive space is the first of its kind in Hong Kong and draws inspiration from Balenciaga’s Paris Couture Store fitting room, emphasising privacy and personalised luxury experiences.
At the ground-level entrance, mosaic tile detailing pays tribute to Cristóbal Balenciaga’s original Paris boutique at 10 Avenue George V.
The group said the design incorporates a deliberately worn aesthetic, revealing underlying layers that reference the brand’s archival history and the evolving identity of the century-old fashion house.
