Lazada's RedMart launches 30-minute grocery delivery in Singapore
The service is designed for urgent or last-minute grocery needs.
RedMart by Lazada has launched RedMart Now, an on-demand grocery delivery service that promises deliveries in as fast as 30 minutes.
The service complements RedMart’s existing Same Day, 2-Hour, and 6-Hour delivery options.
RedMart Now offers fresh produce, snacks, beverages, household items, and festive goods. Delivery costs S$3.99 for orders above S$30, with first-time users receiving free delivery above S$30.
The service runs daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and initially covers southern Singapore, including Sentosa, Telok Blangah, Alexandra, Pasir Panjang, Clementi, Queenstown, Orchard, River Valley, Tanglin, and Bukit Timah (postal codes 09–16 and 23–27). Expansion to other areas is planned.
“With RedMart Now, we can cater to a different shopping mission – one driven by urgency and unexpected moments,” said Martin Daney, SVP, head of RedMart, Lazada. “Our ambition is to be the go-to platform for both everyday groceries and life’s unexpected needs, helping customers spend less time on errands and more time enjoying what matters.”
The company said that the service is designed for urgent or last-minute grocery needs. The launch builds on RedMart’s 15 years of delivery experience and ongoing investments in logistics and technology.
Singapore’s quick commerce market currently makes up around 33% of online grocery revenue and is projected to generate S$500m by 2025.
