
Ingka group names new CEO and president
Maeztu will officially assume the role on 5 November.
IKEA has appointed Juvencio Maeztu as the new chief executive officer and president of Ingka Group.
Maeztu, currently deputy CEO, has spent 25 years with IKEA in roles, including store manager in Spain and brings extensive retail and leadership experience.
He succeeds Jesper Brodin, who is stepping down after eight years as CEO and 30 years with the company.
Brodin will remain with the company until the end of February 2026 and will subsequently contribute as a senior advisor to the IKEA Foundation and other initiatives.
Maeztu will officially assume the role of CEO on 5 November 2025.
