IKEA cuts restaurant prices globally
It is also updating its menu with new Asian-inspired dishes.
IKEA is slashing food prices across many of its global stores, cutting weekday restaurant meal prices in half and offering free meals for children from Monday to Friday.
The move is part of the company’s strategy to support customers during ongoing economic challenges.
In markets like France, a family of four can now eat lunch for $8.15 (€6.96) instead of $23.3 (€19.90). IKEA is also giving every restaurant guest a $5.58 (€5) voucher to use in-store.
IKEA is also updating its menu with new Asian-inspired dishes and more plant-based options, including its first-ever falafel, coming soon to both restaurants and Swedish Food Markets.
IKEA said the initiative supports its long-term goal which is to deliver everyday value through both home furnishings and food.
