JD Logistics expands into South Korea’s domestic supply chain market

It has launched two self-operated logistics centers in Icheon and Incheon.

JD Logistics, the logistics arm of China’s largest retailer JD.com, has officially entered South Korea’s domestic supply chain logistics market.

The company has launched two self-operated logistics centers in Icheon and Incheon, which are now fully operational. These centers offer third-party logistics (3PL) services and integrated supply chain solutions, providing fast delivery speeds of as little as 12 hours within Seoul and surrounding regions.

The Icheon facility is already serving a South Korean e-commerce client and features automated packing and sorting systems that have significantly improved efficiency. JD Logistics implemented a full logistics solution within one month to stabilize the client’s operations and reduce fulfillment risks.

The site also includes a batch-based inventory system for food products, improving accuracy and expiration date management. Its AI-powered warehouse system reallocates popular items to high-turnover zones, enabling deliveries in as little as 12 hours in Seoul and nearby regions.

The Incheon center supports end-to-end logistics for South Korean beauty brands and a major U.S. consumer goods company.

JD Logistics also links Korean products to Chinese buyers through JD.com’s cross-border platform, JD Worldwide. With over 100 warehouses worldwide, the company offers 2–3-day delivery in key global markets and same-day service in select areas.
