Property group Simon opens first Jakarta premium outlets

It spans over 302,000 square feet.

Simon has officially opened Jakarta Premium Outlets®, its first Premium Outlet® center in Indonesia.

Located in Tangerang, just outside Jakarta, the 302,000-square-foot shopping destination is nearly fully leased and features over 150 global and local brands.

Luxury and premium brands include Bally, BOSS, Coach, Furla, Lacoste, Longchamp, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Kenzo, Versace, Swarovski, Tumi, and The North Face. It is also home to Indonesia’s first Adidas outlet store, the largest in Southeast Asia, along with Nike, Converse, Hoka, Puma, New Balance, Reebok, Skechers, and Under Armour. The center also offers a variety of international dining options.

Whilst now open, a grand opening ceremony is planned for the second quarter of 2025.

Strategically located in Alam Sutera Township, Tangerang, the outlet sits at the intersection of two major highways. The Jakarta–Merak Toll Road provides a 30-minute drive to Central Jakarta, home to 12 million people. The Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road connects to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, which handles 55 million passengers annually.

Jakarta Premium Outlets is developed and operated by Simon Genting Pte. Ltd., a joint venture between Genting Plantations Berhad and Simon, with operations managed by PT Nusantara Management Indonesia and PT Pembangunan Property Nusantara. The venture also operates Johor Premium Outlets and Genting Highlands Premium Outlets in Malaysia.
