Paris Baguette opens regional manufacturing hub in Johor, Malaysia

It will boost production capacity.

Paris Baguette, the bakery chain under South Korea’s SPC Group, has opened a regional manufacturing hub in Johor, Malaysia, to expand its global supply chain.

The new facility, inaugurated by Johor Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi and SPC Group Chairman Hur Young In, is expected to boost Paris Baguette’s production capacity, supporting its growing presence in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

Equipped with seven production lines, the hub can produce up to 100 million bakery products annually. It is also Halal-certified, meeting Malaysia’s strict food safety and quality standards.

"With the Johor Production Centre as a strategic hub, we aim to bring wholesome and delightful flavours to the 2 billion consumers in the Halal market, spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond," said Hur. "This milestone is not only about business expansion, but also about building stronger connections, creating job opportunities, and celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the communities we serve."

Paris Baguette, which operates about 4,000 outlets worldwide, sees the Johor hub as a key part of SPC Group’s strategy to expand its international footprint.
