Norway-based jewellery retailer Tom Wood enters Asian market with Tokyo flagship store

The store employs a contemporary and minimalist style for a cutting-edge customer experience.

Norway-based jewellery retailer Tom Wood has expanded into Asia with a new flagship store in Tokyo.

Located in the neighbourhood of Aoyama, the new store has implemented an innovative and sustainable design from Swedish design agency Specific Generic, combining Japanese and Nordic cultures into one style.

Over its 320 square metres space are two floors of showrooms featuring Tom Wood’s signature jewellery items. The ground floor has brought a contemporary aesthetic using aluminium, steel and textiles with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass to display a selection of jewellery.

“We strive to make conscious choices in terms of materials, function and quality, but most of all to build retail stores that will be considered a time stamp that will be just as relevant in 10 or 15 years from now,” Morten Isachsen, CEO of Tom Wood, shared.
