Alibaba’s used goods trading app hits 100 million monthly users

More than 1 billion products are listed on Idle Fish every year.

Alibaba’s used-goods trading app, Idle Fish, has hit 100 million monthly active users in June, per the company’s quarterly financial report. It has also exceeded 300 million total registered users, with over 60% of them born after 1990.

The platform facilitates consumer-to-consumer or C2C transactions and aims to promote greener consumption and niche lifestyles in the process. More than 1 billion products are listed on the app every year.

At the same time, over 1 million people search for pet-related content and products daily, the company found. It also noted that categories such as fashion, luxury, and beauty have also grown during the year.
