The company saw an accelerated demand for O+O experience in 2020.

Hong Kong-based health and beauty retailer A.S. Watson Group has reached 16,000 offline and online stores in its 180th anniversary, according to a press release.

The company has celebrated its anniversary by hosting a 5G-enabled virtual cocktail event, gathering CEOs of global consumer goods companies and over 300 business partners and charity partners from all around the world.

“The pandemic this year has further accelerated their demand for integrated O+O experience in the way they shop and experience brands,” A.S. Watson’s Group Managing Director Dominic Lai commented during the cocktail.

During the coming 12 months of celebration, the company will launch activities around the world to engage its employees and customers. It will also continue its global fund-raising campaign for Operation Smile to sponsor surgeries for children with cleft lip or palate.
