UNIQLO to open its largest retail store in Macau

The store will feature the first UTme! machine.

Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO announced the opening of the Ruins of St. Paul’s Store on 30 September, set to be the brand’s largest retail store in Macau, according to a press release.

The new store features 5 floors and a total sales area of 1,772 m², nestled at the Centro Comercial E Turistico S. Paulo, former address of Largo da Companhia de Jesus, which commemorates the Jesuits that established St. Paul’s College in Macau.

The store blends an exploration of history and culture with modern lifestyle and retail conveniences and is expected to deliver an unprecedented shopping experience for customers of all ages from Macau as well as visitors from around the world.

The Ruins of St. Paul’s Store will also feature the first UTme! Machine amongst stores in Macau and Hong Kong, a popular service where customers can create custom-designed T-shirts and tote bags. The new store will also launch a series of collaborative projects with local artists featuring UTme! designs.

The Ruins of St. Paul’s store will also hold various community projects in Macau, and will showcase sustainability initiatives to demonstrate its care for the community and environment.
