Shinsegae’s online mall business SSG.com, is introducing a new delivery service for luxury goods by the first quarter of this year. This service will use professional security vehicles and guards to deliver luxury goods to customers.
The company also plans to launch a new service that will arrange transactions of used items among its luxury goods customers by the end of this year.
At the same time, Lotte Shopping’s online platform Lotte ON joined hands with local startup LUXURY&ALL to launch a new service connecting repair professionals with its luxury goods customers.
The service allows customers to tap repair specialists by uploading the description of the product in need of repair and related photos online. Specialists will participate in a bidding process and customers can select among them based on their offer price and review records.
