L’Oréal partners with Korean beauty company Chowis for advanced hair care service
The partnership involves the use of Chowis’ Dermopico hair analysis technology.
L’Oréal Professionnel Paris has entered into a partnership with South Korea-based beauty skincare and haircare specialist Chowis Company for the launch of personalised hair diagnosis and management services in India.
Under the partnership, Chowis will utilise its in-house scalp and hair analysis technology in the form of the smartphone-powered hair analyser Dermopico.
The equipment works as a portable hair scanner, wherein it can be attached to a camera for a mobile phone and stored inside a pocket. It then examines five primary hair and scalp measurements, like hydration, scalp sebum, hair density, dead skin cells, and impurities.

Under a 30X magnification, the hair counselors within Dermopico capture clear scalp and hair pictures using integrated big data and AI technology, which result in more accurate and faster results.
“The hair and scalp analysis project with L’Oréal Professionnel Paris India continues to empower and further strengthens our commitment to provide effective solutions to all customers.” With the Loreal project, Chowis is once again making a mark in the industry and adding a stamp to its reliable and dependable service,” Choi Won Suk, CEO of Chowis Company, stated.
