AS Watson Group names MoneyBack managing director

Clarice Au will take the role in April.

AS Watson Group has appointed Clarice Au as the managing director of one of the largest loyalty programmes in Hong Kong, MoneyBack.  

In a statement, AS Watson said that Au joined the company in 1998 and was appointed as FORTRESS’s general manager-Operations and Business Development in 2013.

She was promoted to general manager in 2014 and became its managing director in 2018. She will continue holding the same position at FORTRESS.

Au led FORTRESS’ digital transformation to integrate the offline plus online strategy on its platforms.

“I believe she will continue to implement our growth strategy and apply her extensive experience to driving the growth of MoneyBack, leading Moneyback towards new heights," Dominic Lai, group managing director of AS Watson Group said.

Au said they are committed to enhancing members’ experience and aim to remain the top choice for Hong Kong consumers.

“By leveraging the extensive network of our local and overseas retail brands, including PARKnSHOP, Watsons, FORTRESS, Watson's Wine, along with our business partners, MoneyBack covers over 8,000 O+O retail outlets in food & beverage, travel, education, petrol, insurance, entertainment and apparel,” she said.
