Rakuten partners with OpenAI to offer AI-enhanced feature for consumers and businesses

The AI-enhanced feature will assist professionals in marketing, sales, and customer service.

Rakuten Group, Inc. selected US-based AI developer OpenAI as a strategic partner for its speciality AI-enhanced feature for consumers and businesses within and outside Japan.

For this collaboration, both companies introduced Rakuten AI for Business, a brand-new AI platform that provides sharp solutions and optimised results for improving operations for businesses and customers. Rakuten will provide the feature, whilst OpenAI will serve as the primary operator.

Rakuten AI for Business will feature a variety of business functions, creating solutions for marketing, sales, customer support, operations, strategy planning, and designing. The application will offer assistance to professionals in real time for seamless customer service. With encapsulating and integrating data, users can receive generated results in seconds.

With its priorities of providing convenience, security, and exclusivity, Rakuten AI for Business will combine the innovations of both partners to revolutionise the business and consumer experience.

Rakuten AI for Business is currently available through invitation and is expected to be released to the public by 2024.
