The brand will be now known as “cheak.”

Womenswear brand Love, Bonito has acquired activewear wear firm “butter” which will be rebranded as “cheak.”

To mark the merger, butter will be rebranded as “cheak,” which was chosen to play on the word “cheeky” and will represent the two apparel firms' personas, said cheak Co-founder Tiffany Chng.

“Every element of cheak has been carefully chosen to represent the ambitious female active persona - strong and confident, mindful, and knows how to have a little fun along the way,” Chng said.

Cheak will be available for early access on 20 October on Love, Bonito’s global website and store in ION Orchard for Gold and Silver members. It will be available on both companies' websites and across Love, Bonito’s Singapore stores starting 21 October.

It will offer 12 styles for sports bras, leggings to biker shoes in seven inclusive sizes from XXS to XXL and 13 colours, with eight colours available on Love, Bonito. Prices range of all-new cheak activewear were between $50 and $79.

Aside from this, Love, Bonito also acquired a small stake investment in Singapore-based natural healthcare startup, Moom Health.
