JD Logistics achieves a 70% growth in overseas orders during Black Friday
AI and automation helped propel sales for the China-based e-commerce channel.
JD Logistics has recorded a 70% year-on-year increase in overseas outbound orders during the Black Friday campaign.
The surge has been propelled by the integration of automated applications and advanced AI algorithms into JD’s operations, providing accurate forecasts (with an accuracy rate for Black Friday hitting 95%) and prompting readiness in inventory.
As a measure for improvement, JD Logistics applied its specialty international warehouse management system, enabling an effective system schedule for swift operational efficiency for overseas warehouses and reducing order fulfilment to 2-3 days.
