Canada-based Lululemon launches on JD's platform

The athletic apparel store offers love-themed clothing for Chinese Valentine’s Day.

Canadian retailer Lululemon has officially debuted its digital flagship store in the J Shop, JD’s upgrade of its fashion and lifestyle business, introducing athletic apparel for yoga as well as other activities such as running, training, and casual wear, the company said.

Founded in 1998 with headquarters in Vancouver, Lululemon typically offers designs that are made with exclusive materials and fabrics.

The company does continuous research and development based on collaboration with yogis and athletes around the world, which allows Lululemon to receive market feedback and apply these to new product launches sooner.

As the “Qixi” Festival, dubbed Chinese Valentine’s Day, falls on August 4 this year, Lululemon has displayed clothes on which printed the word “love” in celebration of the day, JD said.
