Amazon Australia launches free one-day delivery

This will apply to Prime members in Melbourne and Sydney.

Prime shoppers in Melbourne and Sydney will be entitled to Prime free one-day delivery, Amazon Australia announced. 

This will apply to a broad selection of items with no required amount of minimum spend. 

“We know that Australian customers are always looking for value through great prices and fast delivery, so we’re thrilled to be able to make Prime even more convenient with free One-Day Delivery,” Janet Menzies, Country Manager for Amazon Australia, said. 

“Whether you are after something to entertain the kids, a last-minute gift, or need to restock on household essentials, our fast, free Prime delivery options provide a convenient solution, and offer members in most areas of Melbourne and Sydney access to free one day delivery on a huge selection of products.”

Amazon Australia added that Prime members who are not in an eligible postcode may still avail the benefit, but for deliveries as fast as two days.

Amazon Australia has grown its operational footprint in 2022 by more than double after it launched its first robotics fulfillment centre.
