Retail Asia Awards 2023 Winner: Suyen Corporation (BENCH)

Suyen Corporation (BENCH) wins the Store Design of the Year (Large) - Philippines and Apparel Retailer of the Year - Philippines awards at the Retail Asia Awards 2023.

BENCH, which started 35 years ago, has evolved from a single-product t-shirt brand to various categories, including cosmetics, undergarments, accessories, salons, barber shops, aesthetic centres, and cafes. The company has pioneered marketing strategies, such as celebrity endorsements and billboard placements, and has maintained its position as the top-of-mind fashion brand in the Philippines. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, BENCH strategically entered the sportswear category and capitalised on the growing demand for fitness products during that time. They opened a flagship store that showcases their fitness lifestyle concept, Bench Active brand. Learn more about BENCH's achievements from Bryan Lim, VP for Business Development in this interview.
