SM’s Goldilocks targets 60 new stores in 2024

It has opened 41 stores last 2023.

Philippine-based bakeshop brand Goldilocks Bakeshop, Inc. aims to expand its footprint and open 60 new stores this year.

The target is higher than its store openings in 2023 at 41, bringing its total through the Philippines to 926.

Goldilocks aims to open over 40% of new stores in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, continuing the momentum from last year.

“Aligned with the SM Group’s strategy to develop areas outside of the NCR, the Visayas and Mindanao regions offer strong growth potential as many areas there are still unserved and/or underserved. From a customer focus standpoint, we continue to be committed to their needs and wants by building 60 new Goldilocks stores,” Frederic C. DyBuncio, Chairman of Goldilocks, said.
