Singapore’s online marketplace Naiise comes back with new owner
The new platform will allow sellers to be paid instantly upon order fulfilment.
Singapore’s omnichannel marketplace, Naiise, has come back after it was acquired by the Malaysia-based conglomerate, WestStar Group, the company announced on its social media channel.
Naiise—which focuses on gathering bespoke local designers, creatives and artisans under a single umbrella to reach out to customers directly—will prioritise building and improving on its platform to ensure its long-term sustainability and scalability.
With this, the platform will allow sellers to be paid instantly upon every successful order fulfilment. An incubator model for upcoming and incoming designers and “buy now, pay later” concepts are also in the works.
Over 500 merchants will be featured gradually on the platform, as well as the debut from new brands. Besides home, fashion, beauty and lifestyle, Naiise will also feature more hyper-local, eco-friendly and independent international brands in the coming months.
Naiise is extending an exclusive invitation for merchants, which includes a waiver of listing fees and reduced last-mile delivery rates, till 31 December.
