Reliance Retail’s Hamleys launches in Italy

Giocho Preziosi S.P.A. is the toy retailer’s franchisee.

Reliance Retail has launched the first exclusive retail store of Hamleys, the world’s oldest toy retailer, in Italy following a franchise agreement with toy manufacturer and distributor Giochi Preziosi S.P.A (GP).

In a statement, Reliance said GP will have exclusive rights to operate Hampleys stores in Italy under the franchise deal.

The flagship store in Milan spans two levels covering an area of 13,300 square feet at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.

It features curated brand sections from prominent toy brands such as Lego, Nerf, and Barbie.

This will soon be followed by a flagship store in Rome.
