Philippines' Robinsons Retail appoints new CEO

Stanley Co will assume the role starting on 1 January 2025.

Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. has appointed Stanley Co as president and CEO, effective 1 January 2025. He replaces Robina Gokongwei-Pe, who will become chairman of the board.

The company also said Gokongwei-Pe, who has been president and CEO since 2018, will take over from Lance Gokongwei as chairman. Lance will step down to become a board adviser. Meanwhile, James Go will remain vice chairman, and Co will join the board, completing the nine-member team.

Co brings over two decades of experience within Robinsons Retail to his new role. He began his career with the company's DIY Segment as division merchandise manager in 2003 and became group general manager in 2008. 

Additionally, Co was appointed managing director of the Food Segment in 2020 and chief operating officer in 2023. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Santo Tomas and an MBA from De La Salle University.
