Philippines' Robinsons Place Tacloban reopens

The mall closed for two years after suffering a fire incident.

Philippines’ Robinsons Place Tacloban has reopened after a fire incident caused the shopping mall to close in October 2019, the company announced through its social media channel.

The mall is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Mondays to Sundays. Per guidelines set by the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force and the local government unit, people aged 15 to 65 are allowed inside the mall.

The company encourages its customers to adopt precautionary measures whilst inside the mall, such as having their QR scanned before entering, getting a temperature check, wearing a face mask and face shield, practicing safe distancing, and regularly sanitizing their hands.
