MINISO launches talent training program in Malaysia

It recruits over 10 Malaysian graduates from prestigious universities worldwide.

Lifestyle retailer MINISO has launched the second edition of its Eagle Leader Plan in Malaysia to boost its global talent pool.

The initiative is part of MINISO’s ongoing global talent program started in 2022.

The plan recruits over 10 Malaysian graduates from prestigious universities worldwide for key roles, including national deputy general managers, national operations managers, and national merchandise managers.

Trainees will undergo comprehensive training over the next one to two years, including domestic and international rotations, fixed-position practice, and management training.

To date, MINISO has trained 36 participants under this program, supporting its international operations in markets like the United States, Canada, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The company plans to recruit an additional 30 global talents for the Eagle Leader Plan II over the next three years.

Additionally, the group recently inaugurated the MINISO Malaysia Global Talent Development Centre to further develop global talent and support its local workforce of over 200 employees.
