It currently operates 64 stores across the Philippines, with 42 branches in the Visayas.

Philippines' Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) has begun construction on four new supermarket stores in Cebu and Leyte, signaling a significant expansion in the Visayas region.

Benedicto C.T. Miranda, vice president of store network development of MRSGI, noted the importance of community collaboration and delivering quality goods and services to residents.

The new stores include a Metro Supermarket in Barangay Tayud, Cebu, and Metro Value Mart outlets in Barangay Poblacion and Barangay Tangke. Additionally, MRSGI is extending its reach to Leyte with a Metro Supermarket in Barangay Marvel, Isabel.

"Investing in these communities is not just about business; it's about creating lasting relationships and making a positive difference in people's lives," said Miranda.
