LVMH appoints new Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior Couture CEOs

Their appointment will be effective on 1 February.

Luxury goods company LVMH has appointed new CEOs for its subsidiaries Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Couture which would be effective on 1 February.

In a statement, LVMH said Pietro Beccari, who headed Christian Beccari since 2018, will assume the post of Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton to replace Michael Burke. Burke will assume new responsibility and report directly to LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault.

Burke spent 10 years leading Louis Vuitton and the integration of Tiffany.

Delphine Arnault, meanwhile, will succeed Beccari to serve as the chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture. Arnault has been the executive vice president of Louis Vuitton since 2013. 

Charles Delapalme will now assume the post of managing director of Christian Dior Couture, following his assignment as executive vice president of the same company in 2018.

Stéphane Bianchi, chairman and CEO of the Watches & Jewelry Division, will now also oversee Tiffany and Repossi, following joining the LVMH Group division.
