Luxury group SMCP enters India

SMCP is currently present in 47 countries. 

France-based luxury group SMCP entered the Indian market with its partnership with Reliance Brands Limited which will be the exclusive distributor of its Parisian brands Sandro and Maje in the South Asian nation.

In a statement, SMCP, which also owns the brands Claudie Pierlot and Fursca, said the partnership marks the company’s expansion to key markets with “high potential growth.

Sandro and Make will open its first stores in India in 2024.

Reliance Brands has partnered with brands across multiple sectors such as Bottega Veneta, Tiffany & Co., Valentino, Versace, Armani, Balenciaga, Boss, and Zegna, amongst others.

T currently has over 90 brands in its portfolio, operation more than 900 stores.
