Visa welcomes new country manager for Singapore and Brunei
Financial services company Visa recently announced the appointment of Kunal Chatterjee as country manager for Singapore and Brunei.
Chatterjee spent the past 10 years with Visa serving in a variety of roles. Most recently, he has led Visa’s global account team for Citibank in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The company said he is a proven team leader with an in-depth knowledge of payments and a strong understanding of the Singapore business. Additionally, he has hands-on market experience as a former member of Visa’s Singapore country team where he led the Business Development function for three and a half years.
“I am thrilled to be returning to Visa’s Singapore country team and have the opportunity to lead our operations in the exciting markets of Singapore and Brunei. I am looking forward to growing the talent in our team and working closely with our clients and merchants to introduce new payment innovations that benefit consumers, businesses and the government.” Chatterjee said.

Prior to joining Visa, Chatterjee spent a number of years working in banking and finance in a variety of roles at banks in India and in the consulting domain in Asia-Pacific markets.
