We’re so proud and I just like to personally thank my team, my shareholders in the company, the upper management that supported this endeavour, and of course, the hard work and the teamwork from the people that put it all together. This was a very unique situation, we were in an adversity situation. We were able to turn around a mall that was struggling into something that we are really proud of during the time of COVID- to do this kind of thing and show this innovation and passion reflects very well on the company. Innovation is really part of what we do. So, we would like to thank you guys again for this award. It’s a very proud moment for our group.

It means a lot to be recognised by Retail Asia magazine. It’s surreal, the feeling of winning this award because it is an acknowledgement of all the hard work the team has done. It has been really difficult but we persevered and we are here today. I think it is also an affirmation of the trust that our customers, our local SMEs, and our business partners have put in for Fairprice Marketplace. We have this opportunity right now to not only bring them the Fairprice that they have been used to but, but the Fairprice Marketplace that they deserve.
