Valentino Beauty opens 1st boutique in Hong Kong

It is located in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Valentino Beauty opened its first boutique in Hong Kong in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, on 5 August.

Eva Yu, president and managing director of L’Oreìal Hong Kong, said the decision to open Valentino Beauty’s first boutique in Hong Kong “demonstrated the brand’s confidence in the Hong Kong Market.”

“As a strong couture brand under L’Oreìal Group, it will no doubt bring customers unique beauty products and experiences. In addition, the brand’s strong focus on sustainability echoes L’Oreìal Group’s global sustainability commitment under 'L’Oreìal for the Future' and our commitment to driving green beauty in Hong Kong,” Yu said.

She added that Valentino Beauty practices sustainability in its products by having Valentino Rosso lipsticks, MiniRosso, and powder of the Go-Clutch refillable, and shifted to the use of shopping bags instead of paper wrapping for product packaging.

It also employs an Offline Plus Online Retail Strategy by placing QR codes next to each product where customers will be directed to more information and tips on applications and make-up demos. Makeup artists will also be available for any product recommendations or consultations through text.

Payment procedure will also be completed online, the group said.
