Travel rebound propels luggage market to $183b
Asia-Pacific dominated the market in 2025.
The global bags and luggage market is projected to hit US$183b by 2032, at a compound annual rate of around 2.15%, driven by steadying travel activities, according to a Vyansa Intelligence report.
It is also being driven by increasing consumer preference for functional and lifestyle-oriented bags, and rising demand across business and daily mobility applications.
Asia-Pacific dominated the market in 2025, accounting for nearly 40% of total revenue, supported by rapid urbanisation and an expanding middle-class population.
The region’s success was also driven by tourism activities across China, India, and Southeast Asia.
The report said increasing consumer spending on personal accessories and strong retail penetration continue to reinforce the region's leadership in the market.
