JD Super launches direct supply chain for Chagan Lake fish

It sources fish caught within 24 hours and delivers them directly to customers.

JD Super, the supermarket division of JD.com, has launched a direct supply chain model to deliver fresh fish from Chagan Lake to consumers nationwide, simplifying access to one of China’s most renowned delicacies.

To ensure freshness and authenticity, JD Super sources fish caught within 24 hours and delivers them directly to customers, bypassing traditional intermediaries. Bulk orders also include added value, with customers receiving slightly more fish than they pay for.

JD Logistics supports this initiative by streamlining delivery with a transit hub in Changchun and nearly 20 air routes from nearby cities, cutting shipping times by three hours on average.

Despite a slight rise in fish prices, JD Super is offering discounts on select products to make them more affordable.
