Adore Beauty appoints Jason Murray as incoming chair
He will stand for election at the 2025 AGM on 21 November.
Adore Beauty Group has appointed Jason Murray as an independent non-executive director, effective 1 November 2025.
Murray will stand for election at the company’s Annual General Meeting on 21 November 2025.
If approved by shareholders, he will become chair of the board, replacing Marina Go, who will retire at the end of the meeting.
Murray has more than 20 years of retail leadership experience, including CEO and Managing Director roles at Just Group and Pepkor South East Asia. He also served as Executive Director of Pepkor Holdings Limited (South Africa) during that period.
In 2019, Mr Murray rejoined Best & Less Group Holdings Ltd (BLG) as Group CEO and co-investor following its acquisition by Allegro Private Equity. He led the company’s ASX listing in 2021 and later served as Non-Executive Chair and Executive Chair until its acquisition by a BBRC-led consortium in 2023.
Currently, Murray acts as a part-time board advisor and external consultant to Brand Collective, a major retail subsidiary of the Larry Kestelman Group.
