Ayala Malls expands PH footprint with 56,000-square-metre mall in Cebu

It will be anchored by IKEA, marking the retailer’s first store in the Visayas region.

Ayala Malls has unveiled Ayala Malls Gatewalk, a 56,000-square-metre mall and lifestyle destination located in the province of Cebu, Philippines, as part of its expansion plans in the country.

Set to open in December this year, it will be a four-level, air-conditioned complex connected to an office tower and a public transport hub.

The company said that the mall will be anchored by IKEA, marking the Swedish home furnishings retailer’s first store in Cebu and the wider Visayas region.

Spanning around 4,000 sq. m., IKEA will offer its full range of home solutions.
