Century Pacific Food Inc. recognised at FMCG Asia Awards 2025
The company demonstrated its leadership through Coco Mama Fresh Gata and the Save Our Coconuts sustainability programme.
Century Pacific Food Inc. received two major distinctions at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 - Consumer Good of the Year (Plant-based Milk) - Philippines and Sustainability Initiative of the Year - Philippines for its achievements through Coco Mama, a brand that continues to redefine how Filipinos cook with coconut milk (gata) whilst contributing to sustainable coconut farming.
Revolutionising a Filipino kitchen essential through Coco Mama Fresh Gata
Century Pacific Food Inc. earned the Consumer Good of the Year (Plant-based Milk) - Philippines title for Coco Mama Fresh Gata, which changed the traditional way of preparing coconut cream.
The process of grating and pressing coconuts was once time-consuming and labour-intensive. With Coco Mama, consumers can now experience the “sarap ng unang piga”, or the deliciousness of the first press, through a ready-to-use pouch made from freshly pressed coconuts packed on the same day.
The brand now holds over 90% market share nationwide and remains the #1 gata (coconut cream) brand in the Philippines.
Empowering coconut farmers through the Save Our Coconuts programme
Century Pacific Food Inc. was also recognised for its Sustainability Initiative of the Year - Philippines through the Save Our Coconuts project, a multi-year effort that supports coconut farmers and promotes sustainable replanting.

The initiative was launched on World Coconut Day 2024 in General Santos City in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority, Century Pacific Agricultural Ventures Inc., the local government of General Santos City, and coconut farmer groups.
The programme aims to plant 100,000 coconut trees within five years to replace senile trees that account for about 20% of the country’s coconut trees. In its first year, the project planted 27,000 trees, exceeding its annual target by 135%, supporting Filipino smallholder farmers.
