Reliance Consumer Products buys majority stake in Naturedge Beverages

It will launch a range of herbal and natural drinks.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has acquired a majority stake in Naturedge Beverages Pvt. Ltd. to enter the functional beverage market.

Through the joint venture, RCPL will launch a range of herbal and natural drinks, strengthening its position as a total beverage company. The functional beverage segment in India is expanding rapidly, driven by demand for healthier, natural alternatives.

Naturedge, founded in 2018 by Siddhesh Sharma of the Baidyanath Group, makes Shunya — a zero-sugar, zero-calorie drink infused with herbs such as Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Khus, Kokum, and Green Tea.
