Tumi opens first flagship store in China

It introduces a scenario-based display strategy.

Tumi has officially opened its first flagship store in China.

Located at the Shanghai Centre on Nanjing West Road, the new location marks a significant step in Tumi's expansion in Asia and reinforces its focus on the Chinese market.

The exterior features a modern design with metallic finishes and a sculptural façade inspired by Tumi's signature 19 Degree collection.

Inside, the flagship offers a refined atmosphere of marble accents, calming neutral tones, and modern metal and stone textures, creating an environment that is both elegant and welcoming. The space is designed to invite exploration of Tumi's complete product portfolio, including its men’s, women’s, and travel collections.

A highlight of the Shanghai flagship is an exclusive art installation titled Journey, created by Chinese artist Xu Fei. Made of natural bamboo, the piece reflects themes of movement, balance, and craftsmanship, aligning with TUMI’s design philosophy and respect for cultural roots.

The store also features a scenario-based display system, offering a clear and intuitive way for customers to engage with TUMI’s full product lineup.
