Authentic Brands Group has launched its Asia-Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Shanghai as part of its global expansion strategy.
The Shanghai office, spanning nearly 2,000 square meters, features five immersive showrooms, a Style Studio, an executive lounge, and dedicated spaces for teams across brand management, business development, PR, marketing, and entertainment.
The new space will serve as the company’s regional hub, supporting brand management, licensing, marketing, and business development across Greater China and the wider APAC region.
Top executives including CEO Jamie Salter, President Matt Maddox, APAC President Wesley Chu, EVP Josh Perlman, and brand partner David Beckham attended the launch.
The opening follows the launch of Authentic’s EMEA headquarters in 2024, reinforcing its push to localise operations in key markets.
Founded in 2010, Authentic owns and manages a portfolio of over 50 lifestyle, sports, and entertainment brands, collectively generating around US$32 billion in annual global retail sales. Its roster includes global icons such as David Beckham, Shaquille O’Neal, Reebok, Aéropostale, Quiksilver, Barneys New York, and Sports Illustrated.
