AllDay Supermarket ‘optimistic’ over 2022 outlook after 28% footfall growth

This was driven by the uptick brought by the peak season.

Philippine-based AllDay Supermarket is “optimistic” over its outlook in 2022 after seeing a 28% year-on-year growth in footfall in the fourth quarter of 2021.

The company attributed the increase of customer traffic to the peak season.

“AllDay’s 4Q store performance, particularly store footfall, is an indication of the quickening pace of the country’s return to normal, as well as continued validation of our unique supermarket concept and experience,” Manuel Villar Jr, Chairman of AllDay, said.

“We are seeing consumers regain their confidence to again frequent our stores and the unique experiences they offer—a distinct and key advantage of AllDay Supermarket.”

AllDay Vice Chairman Camille Villar also attributed the uptick in store footfall to its strategy to innovate and elevate supermarket experience.

“Combined with consumers’ confidence in the governments’ sustained efforts to stem the pandemic through safety protocols and vaccination, we are confident in our optimistic outlook for the coming year,” she added.

At present AllDay Supermarket operates 35 stores, across the country, including Bataan, Pampanga, Metro Manila, and Cavite amongst others.
