SM brings back organic market caravan in the Philippines

The caravan is bringing fresh produce as well as takeout meals in two malls.

SM Supermalls' organic market caravan Farmers’ Produce will return at The Podium and SM Aura Premier in the Philippines in June and July to offer fresh produce and a farm-to-table experience for mallgoers, according to a news release.

A joint project of SM Supermalls, the Department of Agriculture (DA), and Resto PH, an association of restaurants in the Philippines, Farmers’ Produce will offer fresh fruits, vegetables, and various food products such as rice and honey from local farmers.

The caravan also offers takeout meals from OK Café, Gourmet Café, Moloko Handcrafted Cookies, Vikings, Pizza Express, Scouts Honor, and Oh My Greek, and more.

The caravan aims to help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), farmers, and restaurants whose businesses continue to be affected by the pandemic.

Farmers’ Produce will be at The Podium on 3-5 June, 10-12 June, 1-3 July, and 8-10 July. At the Podium on June 3-5, purveyors will offer fresh produce, dairy products, coffee, chocolate, herbs and seedlings as well as aromatherapy massage oils, plants gardening tools, and more.

The caravan will also head to SM Aura Premier on 18-20 June, 25-27 June, 16-18 July, and 23-25 July.
